10th Anniversary Party
We had a terrific night at our 10th anniversary party.
Many thanks to all who helped make it a memorable night.
Thanks especially to the committee members for all the work they put into the night.
We are now offering classes in Social dancing. The classes begin on Monday 11th November in the Soccer club, Gortakeegan at 7.30 until 9.30.
The walk on Wednesday, November 13th is in Castle Saunderson.
Meet at Smithborough GAA car park at 10.00am.
We had an enjoyable two days in Newcastle with lovely walks, a great hotel and good company.

Poems and Pints
Maggie Charley’s, Ballinode is the venue for Poems and Pints on Thursday 21st November, around 8pm.
The next Book Club meeting is on Thursday, October 28th in the Four Seasons hotel at 3.15pm.
The book for this month is ‘The woman in the window’ by A.J.Finn.
The book will be available in the library.

The next Monthly Talk will be Friday 29th at 12.00 noon in Gortakeegan.
The speaker is Dr Cliona Kelly, Associate Professor of Law in U.C.D and she will speak on ‘Know your Consumer Rights’.

The talk will take the form of a presentation, followed by a question/answer session.
Tea/coffee will be available afterwards.
