A sincere thank you to Greg Devlin, Marketing Manager with Silver Hill Foods, who gave a very informative and wide ranging presentation on the Company on Friday last at Gortakeegan.
It was thoroughly enjoyed by all present.
Thank you also to Jane Flynn who organised a 2 Day Trip to Dungloe for 29 Walkers last week.
By all accounts, it was extremely successful and great craic was had by all participants.
The walk next Wednesday, March 11th is to Gosford Park, Markethill.

This is a new Reaching Out Programme to U3A members by U3A Members.
Are you currently unable to get out for whatever reason and would like someone to ”make a ceili”.
Two members of the U3A would be delighted to stop by to see “how’re ya keeping” at your invitation.

Final Call for York Trip
Trips to Harrowgate in York will take place on the 4th and 11th of May, 2020.
The trips will be for 4 nights, B & B and Dinner.
The cost is €470 per person sharing .
This includes all entrances, coach, boat and hotel.
Possible trips will include Castle Howard, Haworth Bronte House and City Cruise.
One single room left for Week 1 and a limited number of doubles/twins for both weeks.
If travelling, please ensure you have your own Travel Insurance.

Those who have committed to travelling to Krakow in October should call into O’Hanrahan Travel with €200 and their Passport on or before Friday, March 6th.

Any U3A Members who would like a Swim, are welcome to go to The Four Seasons Hotel on Thursdays, between 12.00 and 2.00 p.m.
The cost is just €5 and you do not need to be a Member of The Four Seasons Leisure Club.
In addition to this, a Water Aerobics Class is now available on Fridays at 11.00 a.m.
Cost is also €5.
This is being thoroughly enjoyed by all who are availing of the opportunity. Why not give it a go?
There will be no Film Club on Tuesday, March 17th.
The next one will take place on Tuesday, March 24th at Smithborough Presbyterian Hall at 7.30 p.m.
Poems and Pints
The next Poems and Pints will be held in Maggie Charlie’s, Ballinode on Thursday, March 19th at 8.00 p.m.
The book for our next Book Club meeting is “When all is said and done” by Ann Griffin and is available from Monaghan Library.
The Book Club will meet at The Four Seasons Hotel on Thursday, March 26th at 3.30 p.m.
